Where am I?

I’m going to treat this section as a repository for any photographs which I cannot identify or locate.

First up is one from the 1969 and 1971 photographs which are all © D.L. Roberts, The Dovecote House, Westborough, Newark, Notts., and belong to HISTORIC ENGLAND. They can be seen on their website where you can also order individual prints. The OS co-ordinates are unhelpful because they lead to the middle of a field out on Lincoln Road towards Aubourn. In truth, I suspect that this structure might have long since vanished.

These next photographs are from the collection of John Brogan and are proving to be a bit of a head-scratcher!

This farmhouse is/was in an unknown location, although the identity of the lady is not part of the problem; she has been identified as Fanny Walton. The window at top centre is painted, a relic of the old window tax period. Do you know where this building is or was?Fanny Walton where

And, going by the two trees at the side, this second photograph is presumed to be the same building viewed from behind. Judging by the severity of the flooding I’d guess that it was/is close to the river.Bassingham where 1

Finally in this group is a cart shed and a child. John guesses that this was located around the back of the house above and that the child could be Colin Walton or perhaps one of his siblings.Bassingham where Walton

Any and all thoughts would be welcomed!
